When is a web site considered Non-Personal?

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about the Web Hosting Services regarding what makes a web page non-personal.

Is my web site non-personal?

If you answer "YES" to any of these questions, your web site is non-personal in nature and subject to storage fees as outline on our Web Hosting Services page.

  1. Do you have a price list or order form anywhere on your web site?
  2. Are you selling any product(s) or service(s), soliciting a donation or fee for membership on your web site?
  3. Do you promote the sale of any product(s) or service(s) that may result in your being compensated if the product(s) or service(s) are purchased?
  4. Do you market the product(s) or the service(s) of a friend or family member on your web site?
  5. Does your web site state or suggest that item(s) or service(s) described in any web page on your web site may be acquired by contacting you?
  6. Does your web site discuss a set of ways to make money with a group/company that you hold a distributorship/franchise with?
  7. Do you promote a link to a commercial enterprise that leads to a page beyond Armourtech's web server, and as a result of which you are directly or indirectly compensated?
  8. Do you represent yourself as an agent (e.g., as a real estate agent, insurance agent, government agent/agency) on your web site?

I run a nonprofit organization. Is my web site considered non-personal?

If you answered "yes" to any of the eight questions above, then your page is considered non-personal and as such, is subject to storage fees as outline on our Web Hosting Services page.

Remember, you can always change your web pages so that you answer "no" to all of the questions in which case you are welcome to 2Mb of free storage space with your dial-up account.
