Email

Sending and receiving email

POP3, the most common way to access email, allows you to store your email on your computer so you can read and compose email, even if you're not online. With IMAP, email is stored on our server. With IMAP only the e-mail headers and the e-mails you accually read are downloaded, you also have to be online to read compose e-mail. IMAP is useful if you often use more than one computer to check email. You will need an email client, such as Thunderbird or Eudora to check email with POP3 or IMAP.

Email Configuration settings:

  • POP3 or IMAP Account Username e.g. psmith
  • Username: user@host.com
